Meanjin/Brisbane petalcore outfit Torizon are set to launch a new chapter with their upcoming EP 'Meliora', bringing their explosive live show to the Australian East Coast. Taking cues from luminaries Evanescence, Northlane, and Bad Omens, the group blends the crushing weight of metalcore with the infectious hooks of pop music.
With an EP and a string of impactful singles under their belt, Torizon have quickly become one of Queensland’s fastest-rising heavy acts. Their music has gained widespread support across triple j, triple j Unearthed, and community radio stations including 4ZZZ, 2SER, PBS FM, and SYN Media. Online, they’ve been championed by Apple Music, PROG, Music Feeds, Pilerats, The Music, AAA Backstage, Ramona Mag, The AU Review and more.
In the live arena, Torizon have packed out multiple hometown headline shows and shared stages with the likes of Circles, Valhalore, The Last Martyr, Fifth Dawn, GhostSeeker, Days Like These, Aurateque, Orpheus Omega to name a few. Renowned for their emotionally charged performances, their live shows are packed with downtuned riffs, propulsive rhythms, cinematic synths, and dual vocals that swing between raw vulnerability and fierce intensity.
Joined by Melbourne’s face-melting metalcore outfit New Million, this tour marks an exciting evolution for Torizon.
